For the first 3 to 4 weeks, it’s recommended to wear the tape for 6 to 10 hours each day, ideally at night. After this period, you can switch to maintenance, using the tape once or twice a week.
CureTape Beauty is designed for short-term use, typically 4 to 8 hours or overnight. Leaving the tape on for too long may lead to skin irritation or excessive adhesion, making removal more difficult.
This depends on the frequency and purpose. If you use it for your face, then only cut short pieces of the tape. If you use the tape for other purposes or parts of the body where a gentle tape is required, then you will need more. A roll of tape is 5 metres long, so it will last you a while!
The tape adheres best when you cleanse your face before application. Remove any makeup, use a toner, and apply a moisturizer (avoid oil-based products as this will prevent it from sticking). We recommend to apply the tape to completely dry skin. Also, make sure to rub the tape with your fingers after applying it to activate the adhesive layer.
CureTape Beauty is a gentle, hypoallergenic tape specifically designed for use on the face. While reactions are rare, they can occasionally occur. The tape is made of cotton with a 100% hypoallergenic adhesive, making it suitable for sensitive facial skin. CureTape has been a trusted brand of kinesiology tape for over 25 years, and when applied correctly, it should not cause irritation.
To minimize any risk, always follow the application instructions carefully. Most cases of redness or irritation result from excessive stretching of the tape or improper removal, such as pulling it off too harshly. If you notice a slight skin reaction after application, it is usually not an allergy, but rather a response to increased blood flow and the removal of toxins. This may temporarily cause small blemishes. If this occurs, stop using the tape for a few days until the reaction or blemishes disappear.
